The six point tremolo system is the most common tremolo out there. It is used by a number of different manufacturers world wide and has been for many decades. To speculate which Boogie Rail tremolo is right for your guitar is like shooting in the dark. In the past few years of research and development we have realized that guitar tremolos of this nature come in 4 different configurations. The two measurements you will need to know before ordering your Boogie Rail is the string spacing size which is also commonly known as ” E to E” and the screw spacing size which are the 6 pivoting screws located at the front of the tremolo. Generally the string and screw spacing will be the same, but that’s not always the case so be sure to check. Click on this tremolo SIZING PAGE link and print off a page. Follow the 3 easy steps shown at the bottom of the page to determine your string and screw spacing and fill out the product number before ordering.
( PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SYSTEM WILL ONLY WORK ON 6 POINT TREMOLOS AND TREMOLOS THAT HAVE 3 SCREWS HOLDING THE TREMOLO PLATE TO THE STRING BLOCK. 2 PIECE TREMOLOS ARE TYPICAL WITH GUITARS MADE FROM THE MID 1980′S AND ON. PLEASE CHECK UNDER YOUR GUITAR SADDLES TO SEE IF YOUR GUITAR MEETS THE CORRECT REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ORDERING.)

The 3 things you will need to do before ordering: 1) string spacing 2) screw spacing 3) fill out product number
